Redfish art was created from the love of fishing. Dedicated to the redfish and art associated with redfish, I hope to offer the very best of art to fisherman worldwide. Ironically, born in Austin,Texas I didn't start fishing coastal waters until, as a young boy, we moved to St. Simons Island, just north of Fernandina Beach, Florida where I learned the art of saltwater fishing. Over the years I've fished the Texas coast, Lousiana backwaters and Florida's beautiful Gulf of Mexico. I always enjoyed Largemouth Bass fishing and catching Spotted Sea Trout but found that Redfish are more sporting, more aggressive and harder to catch. As a young adult I started Bass fishing in tournamemts, but soon followed the lure and beauty of the redfish. I hope your on a vacation as you visit us, or taking a guided trip, chartering a native guide or just fishing from the bank, anyway you can, catch the spirit of redfish art.
